           Krishna Medical & Technical Research Centre (KMTRC) is academic Institution affiliated to Purbanchal University established on 2012 with the aim of producing higher-level human resources on various disciplines of health sciences. It is located in north east side attached with main road at Ramanand chowk in Janakpur. This institution has its own buildings with modern facilities class rooms, library, laboratories and hostel. It has well-equipped laboratory facilities for demonstration and practical classes on basic sciences including clinical practices, i.e. Biochemistry, Microbiology, Parasitology, Hematology.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nsg)
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program (B.Sc. Nsg.) of Purbanchal University is a Four Year Program. The Program aims to prepare professional nurse with the highest possible technical and managerial competence in respective level of health programs, including problem identification, planning, implementing, training, health education, evaluation and research. Nepal Nursing Council
Duration: 4 years
Eligibility: 10+2 Science or I.Sc. with Biology with 50% marks in aggregate.
Total no. of intake in One Academic Year: 30.
Post Basic Bachelor OF Nursing (PBBN)
The Post Basic Bachelor in Nursing (PBBN) program aims to prepare professional nurse health specialists either in Midwifery, Hospital or Community nursing sectors with the utmost technical, academicals and managerial competence in respective field of specialization. Such specialists are needed in various governmental or non-governmental health agencies, communities, hospitals, schools and academic institutions. Accreditation: Purbanchal University (PU), Nepal
Nepal Nursing Council
Duration of the Course: 3 Years
Eligibility: PCL Nursing (Staff Nurse) with 1 Year work experience and 2 nd Division

Program Objectives of B.Sc Nsg and PBBN
The general objective of the PBBN program is to produce competent graduates with advanced knowledge positive attitude and practical skills necessary to deliver high quality health services needed for the country. Specifically, the program entails the following general objectives:
• Provide advanced knowledge and practical skills in nursing science covering Primary Health Care for nursing graduates.
• Develop skills in measurement, design, analysis and evaluation for applied nursing sciences, health system research and management.
• Equity nursing specialists with communication and group organization skills for promoting community participation in health and development activities ultimately leading to the individual and community self-reliance in health services and improvement in health status.
• Enable nursing health professionals to deal with the existing realities in health management issues, concerns and problems.
• Foster positive attitudes of health professionals to encourage them for providing more accessible, equitable nursing services for disadvantaged groups and communities.
• Develop the leadership capabilities of nursing professionals in the management of nursing services at various levels health programs.
• Enhance the vocational competence of nursing professionals through advanced education in health strategies, health promotion and health programming.
• Strengthen educational capabilities of nursing professionals to deal with teaching learning process at various academic institutions.

KMTRC has highly student oriented and dedicated faculty members. We have adequate stocked library with sufficient National and International writer book to meet the educational need of the students, teachers and office personnel. To meet the educational need of the students’ need, the library shall be opened six days a week from 6:00 am to 5:00pm.
WELL EQUIPPED LABORATORY
To improve the knowledge and develop the skill of the student we have well equipped laboratories with modern equipment.
WELL FACILITIES HOSTEL
We have well facilated Hostel with 24 hr electricity and WIFI.
